Review on the new Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Serum by VICHY

Due to all the environment factors, we age faster if we do not take good care of our skin. Hydrating inside out is as important as sun protection. So we need a good hydration skincare routine even if we have very oily skin. Because hydration plays a very important part for having a supple radiance youthful skin.  It is just a matter of choosing the right hydration products for your skin types.

I have combination skin, before I hit 25 years old... my skin is a little towards oily, I have acne and inflammated skin often.. do not suffer any tight skin issue. But now, I constantly having tight and dry skin! I do not have much acne problems, but occasionally, I do have inflammation and huge acne on my nose or on the cheek! So no matter what skincare I switch to, I will make sure that I have at least one hydration products in the skincare range.

I always enjoying using Vichy Spa thermal water and their Normaderm range when I have acne issue - so this New Vichy Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration range just sound so good that I have to try it!

So this is a little box of 2 skincare products that are cater to my skin need.

Overall review of both Serum and light cream
I love the finishing of the light cream on my skin, feels really smooth, soothing and hydrating - the moisturizing level is pretty high as I don't feel any tightness or dryness. However, the cream does made me produce more sebum. My face start to oil up easily especially around my nose area.

I do not feel oily as skin was feeling quite good, but when I look at the mirror or run my finger over the nose... it look/feel very oily, the sebum sitting on my skin kinda cause blemishes to "grow" I always have a little inflammation/white/black heads on my nose easily because I squeeze all the time.(touching and pressing my nose will cause more irritation and black heads easily - I cannot not touching them, so I've learn to use products to reduce the chance of skin inflammation and clog pores on my nose)

At first I thought the combination of the serum and cream together is a little too rich, that's why my nose start to oil up easily, so I stop using the sebum. Just the cream alone.. and I still facing the same problems. I stop using both products after trying them for about 3 weeks (back in late March).

Then over the months I start adding in the serum into my skincare routine and it works great - the serum feel heavenly on the skin.. giving me the extra boost of hydration when I needed.

Oh, before I forgot - when I stop using both products back in April - I use the cream and serem on my arms and it feels like heaven - I having some skin issue (read about it here) and the cream feel really nice, soothing and hydrated my very irritated and dehydrated skin! (LOVE it!)

If you have very sensitive skin (I means for body too)... if your face products doesn't suit your face - don't waste it... use it on your body or feet ... they are great alternative of body moisturizer.

Over all - the cream is good to use when my face is feeling dry and tight (I will rotate it with my usual moisturizer.) Most suitable for dry to normal skin - a little too rich for combination skin or oily skin.
