Introducing Victoria – the new fragrance from Victorinox Swiss Army

Victorinox  Swiss Army - I believe many are quite familiar with this brand - but did you know Victorinox Swiss Army recently launches a self-confident feminine fragrance? Victoria by Victorinox Swiss Army  is a scent that clearly signals: "this woman has style!"

Over the years, my liking for light refreshing citrusy scent had shifted ... now I into super sweet fragrance! I donno why...  maybe I'm not "sweet" enough (lolx)...

Victoria – the new fragrance from Victorinox Swiss Army
A woman is defined by her fragrance. That’s why she likes to make sure her independence has the right note everyday. With Victoria, Victorinox Swiss Army launches a self-confident feminine fragrance that clearly signals: this woman has style!

Today's woman prefers to rely on herself. With Victorinox Swiss Army Victoria, she can now rely on her Eau de Toilette as well. Victoria suits every day, every occasion and every mood. Musk, sandalwood and myrrh create a pleasant persistence; lily of the valley, violets and freesias place a flowery crown on this harmony.

Victorinox Swiss Army Victoria embodies a timeless femininity that is carried by elegance and self-confidence. The new fragrance adapts perfectly to the skin of the woman who wears it and accentuates her unique charm. It is for women who like to keep things simple but stylish. This can also be seen in the clean lines of the 100ml flacon, which has one platinum side, as well as in the elegant packaging with its stylised engraving of laurel and edelweiss, which was inspired by the insignia of the highest grades in the Swiss army.

Inspiration for Victoria comes from the heart of the Victorinox brand. In 1921 the name Victorinox was created by combining Victoria, the name of the mother of the company's founder, and "inoxidable", meaning stainless. For almost 130 years Victorinox has been producing and distributing worldwide multi-functional pocket knives, including the legendary "Swiss Army Knife". They stand for the highest Swiss quality, creative functionality and groundbreaking innovation. They are all indispensable companions in the lives of their owners, both female and male.

The bottle of this EDT look totally opposite of the scent~
The bottle feel "strong", very clean cut and straight forwards... not too much details or look anything "feminine". It look quite "manly". I guess that's the beauty of "crashing".

The scent of this EDT is sweet (floral type of soft sweetness), light, fresh, airy and "soft"... totally opposite of the bottle design!

About the scent::
The freesia introduces in the fragrance the color of its gentle floral accents and brightens the top note.

Blackcurrant berries and plum give a crispy and juicy effect, full of naturality and delicacy, lively and acidulour.

A modern airy floral facet brings a breath of femininity playing with transparency and fluidity... Bulgarian rose and violet unveils a caressing floral texture, tender and powdery.

The plant accents of lily of the valley evoke the naturainess of fresh flower petals and the aqueous crispness of morning dew.

Tender sandalwood and cedar give the creation structure, dressed with the warm ambery addiction of myrrh and the voluptuous sensuality of white musk.

This EDT smell pretty strong at first spritz - a combination of sweet floral and fruity scent. More floral then fruity (I say~). Not too musky nor woody.

Although the scent was quite intense, it doesn't smell too overpowering ... and it soften down to a sweet and powdery floral scent. Which I love (I love powdery scent - it's just feel so fresh~)
(I know, I'm totally suck at explaining scents! lolx)

Anyway, the florals scent doesn't turn sour on me and the soft sweet powdery scent last quite well (about 6hrs).
