Lancome Teint Miracle Compact

Lancome will be launching the Teint Miracle Compact Foundation(available in 8 shades customized for Asian women with SPF 20/PA++) in 2012.

The new addition to the Lancome Teint Miracle base products (Liquid foundation and Loose powder)

Lancome Teint Miracle Compact foundation
Available at Lancôme Beauty Counters from 1st January 2012 onwards.
Price:: Refill SD$65 and the case SD$27

The compact foundation contain 3types of rose essence- Not only moisturizing the skin but also provide anti-oxiant, nourished and soothe the skin.

When I swatch the foundation... it doesn't feel like the texture of a normal 2-way cake foundation... The powder was ultra-fine and very smooth.

The foundation case has a unique feature.. the refill pan was a "clip on" instead of the typical "paste on" refill pan. (I prefer the clip on... because it is very easy to change and it won't make a mess trying to dig out the "stick on" pan.)

Each compact comes with a unique double-sided applicator sponge. The velvety side assures a perfect fit, while the fluffy side promotes poreless coverage for the ideal finish.

Now I got a back up of this foundation ^__^

Lancome Miracle sponge made in Japan.

It's soft, fluffy, "bouncy" and big (lolx.. I'm not good at description :b)

Belle Madame Egg Sponge (美妆蛋)

Saw this cute little box at Watsons the other day.... and it's asian version (should be Korean.. cos the sponge was made in Korea and pack in Taiwan)  beauty blended...
Belle Madame "Egg Sponge"(美妆蛋)

The Sponge feel dense and "thick"... I don't have beauty blender, so I can't make any comparison. But it does have similar texture of the Elizabeth Arden Makeup blender that came with the Ceramide Ultra Lift and Firm Makeup creamy foundation (Click)

I find that the Elizabeth Arden makeup blender was abit too small.. and this egg sponge might be a good alternative. (I haven't tried this yet...have been abit lazy on putting on foundation lately... I just wear sunblock + primer + loose powder... most if the days :b)
Available at Watsons Singapore
Price: I think is less then SD$8 (SD$7.50 or SD$7.90)

Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer

After blending out... you can see a glow on my skin (it does make my skin look abit darker.. but after foundation/bbcream.. it doesn't make me look dark or anything.
(With sunblock and primer...)

  • The primer feel like a silicon base.. but not as thick nor dry. (I love the texture of this primer)
  • Easy to blend out...
  • Does minimize the pores(abit)
  • Provide a smooth canvas for foundation/bbcream.
  • Doesn't even out the redness on my face. (the bbcream I'm using does the work) but give a nice and nature radiant glow.
  • Oil control was pretty average, I depend more on the foundation/bbcream for the oil control factor.
  • Foundation/bbcream does wear abit longer
  • Have been rotating this primer and the smashbox hydrating primer for the pass 2mths... it doesn't cause any break out nor irritation on my skin.
(With bbcream and powder... )
