Review : Laneige White Plus Renew Tone Up Corrector SPF 40 PA+++

Trying out different sunblock/sunscreen from different brands is like a hobby of mine! I simply love it because sunblock is GOOD! lolx .. Sunblock not only shield skin from harmful sunray, they also keep my skin looking young and "stress" free.

Anyway... in this blog post, I'm going to review the Laneige White Plus Renew Tone Up Corrector SPF 40 PA+++, a product that was launched this year in Feb 2013. This sunblock not only protects skin from UV rays, helps to correct skin tone and also whiten/brighten the skin.

A whitening tone up corrector that protects your skin from UV rays for natural skin tone correction
  • It is the dual-functional daily cream for whitening and sunscreen that leaves your skin brighter and more refined
  • It is an all-in-one product for skincare + primer + volumizer
  • It is a whitening product that blocks melanin generation, transportation, and sedimentation, and applies MELACRUSHER™ technology to promote melanin self-decomposing to eliminate dullness
  • SPF 40 / PA+++ efficiently blocks UV rays and protects your skin from the sun
  • The subtle pink tone naturally corrects the skin tone for livelier and more radiant skin tone
  • The smooth stick-free texture applies lightly and stays supple

Ingredients list

The sunscream is in a offwhite color which has a hint of very pale pink tone in it - doesn't look very obvious when blended out on the skin

Has a dewy finishing

Doesn't have any white cast in flash pic - does look abit shiny~
(below taken with flash)

Have been using this sunblock for a few months (I rotated this with other sunblocks - but I did use this "everyday" for the first 3 to 4 weeks)

On first application, the sunblock does feel a bit thick (a bit heavy on the skin also) as compare to the most Korea's sunblock that I've tried before.

Has a dewy (slightly glowly) finishisg. (I can use a piece of tissue to dab off the "shine" when I feel that my skin is a bit towards oily)

Normally, I just apply a thin layer of moisturizer on top of the sunblock and continue with my makeup routine.

(Cleanse face with cleansing water, apply eye cream - sunblock - moisturizer - primer - foundation)
  • No irritation
  • No breaking out
  • Does brighten up my skin
  • Love the dewy/slowly finishing
  • Does feel a little bit oily
  • sticky wise - it feels like lotion type of stickyness(not really sticky sticky)
  • Does have a little translucent shiny glow (quite pretty in my case - I'm quite fair to begin)
  • The sunblock power was pretty decent
(No sunburn or skin darkening after hanging under the sun for a few hours)
  • Quite hydrating as I don't have tight and dry feeling thru-out the day
  • Can be double up as primer - foundation adhere well on top of the sunblock

Not the best sunblock that I've tried... (the best I referring is "feeling" wise... as for function wise, this is a pretty decent sunblock!) ... I prefer strong power sunblock with light and moisturizing texture... and NEED to give my skin a really nice and pretty glow.
