Review on Hada labo super hyaluronic acid moisturizing eye cream

Hada Labo is a brand that promote simple skincare concept without harsh ingredients. Their popular lotion, especially the "whitening" lotion is one of my favourite.  When they launched the super hyaluronic acid moisturizing eye cream last year (2012) in Singapore... I just cannot resist it!  (Eyecream is a must in my skincare routine -I just cannot live without them, cos my eyelids will itch if I never hydrate it with moisturizer!!!! lolx)

One drop unlocks younger looking eyes
A Combination of 3 Types of Hyaluronic Acid for 3X the Hydration Power

With consumers pleased about the performance of Hada Labo’s hydrating range (100% of Singapore women agree on its instant hydration power*), the brand now introduces a new cream dedicated for the skin around the eyes. This area has thinner skin, and often shows the first signs of aging.

To give younger looking eyes, Hada Labo eye cream contains:
  • 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (Super, Nano, Normal) for thorough and deep moisturization;
  • ACTIFLOW ingredient increases blood circulation, lightens dark circles and puffiness;
  • Jojoba Oil smoothens fine lines around eye area

Just like all Hada Labo products, this eye cream is SIMPLE: pH balanced with no animal derivatives, fragrance, mineral oil, alcohol nor colorant. It is gentle enough even for sensitive skin.

This eye cream is to be used twice daily after applying the Hada Labo lotion by dabbing a small  amount under and around the eye area using the fingertips.

  • pH balanced
  • Low irritation
  • Free of fragrances
  • mineral oil, alcohol and colorant Free
*Regular application of the eye cream will improve the skin texture, wrinkles and puffiness around the eyes

Hada labo super hyaluronic acid moisturizing eye cream come in a very simple and neat pump bottle, look very clean and hygiene (which I like~) I prefer pump type of eyecream then jar type.

Ingredients list~

After trying this eyecream for about 3months (Almost finishing up this little bottle)

  • The eyecream feel quite moist, easy to spread and pat around the sensitive eye's area
  • Doesn't have any scent
  • Lightweight (doesn't feel heavy or thick on the skin)
  • Absorb very well into the skin
  • Not sticky
  • Not too oily (just only lotion-y feels texture)
  • The cream feel quite refreshing on the skin
  • a bit soothing on tired skin
  • No irritation
  • No breaking out
  • Doesn't cause any milia seeds around my under eyes
  • Quite moisturizing
  • Didn't see any visible different on lighting the dark circle
  • Does help to make fine lines look less dry and "deep"
  • Does help in improving a little bit of my undereye area's texture
  • As for puffyness, I do not have any puffy under eyes (I think I don't have la.. lolx) So I cannot say much on this field.
  • I use half pump for both eyes
When my eyes feel extra tired, I will apply another layer to hydrate and soothe the tired skin around my eyes.
I find that this is a very basic moisturizing eyecream, doesn't do much on reducing dark circle or make fine lines disappear. However it does help to make fine lines look less harsh. When the cream is fully absorbed into the skin, the skin feel smooth and soft.

I didn't feel any itchyness on my eyelids, so this eyecream does help to soothe sensitive/dry skin (eczema skin).

If I need any extra .. I will apply eye serum before this eye cream for the extra boost!

When I'm using the eyecream, I do nothing that the under eye area does look abit brighten and less tired. The cream does help to make skin look more supple and more radiant.

The effect doesn't last long but using it long term wise, it does improve abit of the tired skin texture.

I personally find that this eyecream is suitable for all skin types.
Won't be too rich for younger skin, just a bit lack for mature skin.
