The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso Serum infused BBcream

(Product introduction + review)

The Body Shop NEW Moisture White Shiso BB serum Inside SPF25 PA+++ . A supercharged skincaring bbcream that's infused with serum powered by shiso.

The body shop entire Moisture White Shiso range is inspired by the humble herb shiso which is a member of the mint/basil family and believed to reduce early melanin-making signals for brighter, more luminous skin.

Delivering superior skincare benefits, Moisture White Shiso BB Serum Inside instantly brightens, corrects, protects and cares for the complexion, making it the multi-tasking must-have for busy, time-pressed mornings. With a wonderfully lightweight and smooth texture.

Suitable for all skin types, its radiant beige shade was specially developed to suit most Asian skin tones.

8 benefits in 1

Nature’s Brighteners Get Active!
The entire Moisture White™ Shiso range is infused with a powerful combination of natural ingredients.

Shiso, Vitamin C, liquorice and Community Fair Trade organic aloe vera work together in a special complex designed to help you achieve a luminous skin tone.

A renowned antioxidant, Vitamin C helps reduce excessive melanin production. Rich in flavonoids, liquorice is known to enhance skin-brightening. And aloe vera is prized for its soothing and cooling properties.

Comes in a pump bottle, easy to control the amount used.

 Ingredients list...

The bbcream doesn't feel too watery, it's quite creamy and doesn't have a reddish tone to it.

A bit thick with  semi"matte" finishing

Here's my bare face after skincare/sunblock....
I have afew inflammation on my chin, nose and cheek

Have I scare you yet? lolx~

I apply the bbcream with a damp tofu sponge (link)
(Love love love these tofu non latex sponges

Question::
I never tried Beauty Blender before (like tofu sponge they are non-latex).. so was wondering whether they feel similar or BETTER then tofu??

Half face...

Even out skin discoloration and does concealer abit of redness spots
And skin look semi "matte" without setting.

Done!!
Bbcream on the whole face~

After trying out the bbcream for a month
(here's my thought on this serum infused bbcream)

  • A beige tone bbcream, doesn't look too reddish
(I think it won't turn too ashy/greyish on darker skintone)
  • Does make my skin look abit fairer, the effect was quite minimal because, I'm quite fair to begin with.
  • Does even out the redness and discoloration on my skin, hence the overall appearance look a bit fairer. (The "white" make my face look abit "flat)
  • Need concealer if blemishes spot is too dark.
  • Does look abit radiance
  • Quite moisturizing
  • Doesn't feel heavy on the skin
  • Doesn't cause any skin irritation
  • No breaking out
  • medium coverage (buildable to a high medium coverage)
  • semi matte finishing

  • Does look abit thick on "drier skin" (my skin was abit dry on some areas), so I prefer to use a wet sponge to apply the bbcream. (Personal preference, I like sheer coverage with dewy finishing bbcream or foundation).
  • Last pretty well on humid weather.
(I still can see the bbcream on my face after a good 6-8 hrs - without touching up)
  • The oil control was average on me as I don't see much oil up on my Tzone.

I put the before and after side by side...

The even complexion does make my overall "face" look abit "fairer" but after I done with my full makeup (which is about 20 to 40 mins later.. depend whether I wanna be fancy(lolx))... I don't look much different with "before"(my actual skintone) minus away the redness.

Overall, this bbcream does help to make skin look a bit radiance with smoother and even complexion. I only used this for a month plus... so the result might not be that obvious on the skin condition, but I don't mind using "makeup" that contain skincare properties  ^__^

I ask my sister to try this out, not sure whether she will like it, cos she's a good 1 to 2 shades darker then me and she "prefer" darker shade bbcream or foundation.

If they comes in 2 more shades, I believe more peoples will "likey" want to try it instead of being scared away by the pale beige tone of this bbcream.
