Shylina Perfect Beauty Serum [Face primer - review]

Shylina Perfect Beauty Serum is an organic face primer.

Shylina Perfect Beauty Serum aims to refine pores, reduce fine lines and smoother complexion! This serum is to be use after moisturizer(as the last step of your skincare routine) and also double up as a foundation primer. The velvety texture will create a smooth even surface for foundation and also let foundation to stay on longer. It will also give your complexion a subtle healthy glow.

Main ingredients list...
Seaweed extract with Idebenone "anti-aging protection formula forms the velvet-like skin surface protective film that promotes the absorption of ingredients. Coupled with vitamin A, E and collagen to reduce appearance of pores and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.

PS[Note]: This is a day time use skincare product... use it once per day, as the last step of your skincare routine(I use it after my sunblock). Apply the serum on the whole face and avoid using it around the eye area. Wait for 5~10 secs before your base makeup.

Check out the texture... it feel like the La Roche-Posay

Comparing with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast

Cicaplast feel more oily and wet as compare to Shylina PBS.

After blending out both serum, Cicaplast still feel abit oily on the skin where Perfect beauty serum has a smooth velvety finishing.

My thoughts after trying the serum out for a month::
  • Doesn't irritate or cause any break-out on my skin
  • Not too rich nor oily on my combination skin
  • I like that it feel really smooth and the foundation glide on smoothy on my face.
  • I don't see any visible improvement on my skin/pores texture (it does look moist and supple- it might be the result from the skincares I'm using.. cos I notice that my skin texture have been improving even before I start using this serum) BUT, It does made my face texture feel smoother (touch my face with makeup on)
  • Foundation last "abit" longer.
  • It's a nice primer that wont cake up the foundation.
  • Oil control: Not oil, it's all depend on the type of foundation I use.
  • Does make fine lines look less dry and visible
  • When I apply the serum on my face.. it doesn't look like it will do anything to the skin/complextion (minimize pores, reduce fine lines, even out skintone).. it will show visible results only after I layer on the foundation.. the pores look less "bigger/deeper" and fine lines are reduced.
  • It was pretty hydrating.
  • Doesn't crash with my skincares products.
This type of skin improving product normally took way longer then 1month to see visible result. So far, I like it as it doesn't cause any harm on my skin and it does make my skin feel abit different. I will kept using it and hoping to see my skin getting better and better.^_^
It just made me feel good(emotionally wise) thinking that I'm piling alot of good healing ingredients on my skin by using various products from skincares to skincare properties cosmetics.
